Important information regarding the enterprise systems freeze

Beginning in April 2005 the Enterprise Applications Group is recommending a freeze on any new system development on our core enterprise systems (HRS, FRS, SIS, and SAM) and interfaces to these core systems. We are significant shifting resources away from legacy system development and towards our Banner ERP implementation, Project EntERPrise. The freeze will affect each enterprise system in turn, beginning with HRS and FRS. Please review the systems freeze memorandum to determine if your work request falls into this category. As a general rule, production issues, DBD changes, regulatory updates, and fixes for system defects without an existing workaround will be accepted and prioritized. Any other changes, including fixes for system defects with workarounds, will need prior approval from the Administrative Technology Subcommittee (ATS).
